Refund & Return Policy for The Biltong Box Products  

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

If a Biltong product you purchase from us is faulty, unsafe, or does not meet its intended purpose, you are entitled to a replacement, or refund under the ACL. This applies to both minor and major problems.  

When Refunds or Replacements Are Available

- Major Problems: If the product is unsafe, significantly different from the description, or unfit for consumption, you can choose a refund or replacement.  
- Minor Problems: For minor issues (e.g., packaging defects), we will offer a free replacement within a reasonable time.  

When Refunds or Replacements Are Not Available

You are not entitled to a refund or replacement if:  
- You changed your mind.  
- The product was damaged due to improper storage or handling after purchase.  
- The product was consumed or opened unless it is proven to be faulty.  

Health and Safety Considerations

Due to the nature of dried meat products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for opened or partially consumed Biltong unless it is proven to be unsafe or faulty. This is to comply with food safety regulations and prevent contamination risks[2][6].  

Return Process

1. Contact Us: Before returning any product, contact us with details of the issue, including photos or videos if applicable.  
2. Proof of Purchase: Provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, invoice, or transaction confirmation).  
3. Return Shipping: If the product is faulty, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs. For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping.  
4. Inspection: Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the outcome.  

Refunds
If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-9 business days and credited to your original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault on our part.  

Exchanges 
We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged.
